pesade takes its name from a dressage technique where a horse lifts its forelegs and body at a 45-degree angle from the ground. This movement symbolizes the perfect harmony of power and balance, which is deeply connected to pesade's brand philosophy.

Inspired by unique themes for each chapter, pesade creates fragrances and releases one or two chapters annually. Each chapter consists of three fragrances, carefully crafted to achieve beautiful balance with one another.
This represents pesade's core value of 'perfect balance in fragrance' and mirrors our journey of finding our own center in the long path of life.

pesade’s founder, Mok Young-kyo, a graphic artist devoted to the pursuit of perfect aesthetic forms and color harmony, discovered the transformative power of fragrance in expanding the senses and restoring life’s balance.
This experience as a perfume collector inspired him to establish the fine perfumery brand pesade in Seoul in 2022.

pesade는 말이 땅에서 45도 각도로 앞발과 몸을 들어 올리는 마장마술의 기술 이름에서 유래되었습니다. 이 동작은 힘과 균형의 완벽한 조화를 상징하고, 이는 pesade가 추구하는 브랜드의 철학과 깊이 연결되어 있습니다.

pesade는 챕터마다 고유의 주제를 통해 영감을 받아 조향하며 매년 한 개 혹은 두 개의 챕터를 전개합니다. 하나의 챕터는 3가지의 향으로 구성되며 서로가 아름다운 균형이 이루어 지도록 노력합니다.
이는 페사드가 추구하는 핵심가치인 ‘향의 완벽한 균형’을 이루기 위한 시도이며, 이는 삶이라는 긴 여정 속에서 스스로 중심을 찾아가는 우리의 모습과도 닮아 있습니다.

pesade 창업자인 목영교는 그래픽 아티스트로써 항상 완벽한 조형미와 색의 조화를 추구하며 작업을 전개해왔습니다. 향수 컬렉터이기도 했던 그는 향이라는 매개체를 통해 감각의 확장과 삶의 균형을 찾게 된 경험으로 2022년 서울에서 파인 퍼퓨머리 브랜드 pesade를 런칭합니다.
